Vulnerable Children and Families

Support that moves beyond relief.

AREA OF WORK 03

What can help this family stand on its own feet?

Behind many social challenges is a household under pressure. The Association supports vulnerable children and families through interventions that address both immediate needs and longer-term stability. This includes support for children facing severe economic hardship, family-strengthening initiatives, emergency assistance, school retention, basic household needs and livelihood support for caregivers. Where possible, we move beyond relief toward skills, agricultural inputs, a small enterprise, vocational training or another sustainable source of income.

Where possible, we move beyond relief and ask: what can help this family stand on its own feet? That means skills, agricultural inputs, a small enterprise, vocational training or access to another sustainable source of income.
