Poor access to safe water affects health, education, household income and the amount of time women and children spend collecting water.
The Association supports boreholes and community water systems, rainwater harvesting, safe-water storage, sanitation facilities in schools and communities, hygiene education, menstrual health and hygiene, and water solutions for health and education facilities. Projects are selected based on demonstrated community need and the ability to maintain the infrastructure after installation.
