Health and Medical Support
A family should not suffer simply because basic care, medical equipment or specialist knowledge is unavailable.
THE HUMANITARIAN BRIDGE
Chongqing has hospitals, universities, manufacturers and well-wishers with the capacity to help. Uganda has communities with real needs. We connect the two responsibly.
CHONGQING · UGANDA
A humanitarian and development-oriented association turning friendship between the people of Chongqing and Uganda into practical service to communities.
OUR STORY
Founder Max Lee first came to Uganda in 2005. Over two decades later, that personal journey has grown into an institution built to serve communities.
PRACTICAL SERVICE
One successful medical partnership is better than ten unsigned agreements. One water system that still works years later is better than several ceremonial launches.
A family should not suffer simply because basic care, medical equipment or specialist knowledge is unavailable.
Education remains one of the most reliable ways of changing a child’s future.
Behind many social challenges is a household under pressure.
WHO WE ARE
Chongqing–Uganda Friendship Association is a humanitarian and development-oriented organisation established to turn the friendship between the people of Chongqing, China and Uganda into practical service to communities.
We bring together individuals, charities, businesses, medical institutions, universities, government agencies and well-wishers from Uganda and Chongqing around practical humanitarian and community-development work — because friendship between people and nations should be felt in real life.

OUR VISION
OUR AREAS OF WORK
Friendship between people and nations should be felt in real life — in a child who stays in school, a health centre that serves patients better, or a family that builds a livelihood.
A family should not suffer simply because basic care, medical equipment or specialist knowledge is unavailable.
Education remains one of the most reliable ways of changing a child’s future.
Behind many social challenges is a household under pressure.
Poverty cannot be addressed sustainably through donations alone.
For many Ugandan households, agriculture is not merely an economic sector; it is the basis of household survival.
